Brazil’s real gains 1 pct on investment inflows

SAO PAULO, April 2 (Reuters) - Brazil’s currency gainedmore than 1 percent on Wednesday due to rising investment flowsto the country as equity markets firmed.

The real BRBY<BRL=> strengthened to 1.727 per U.S. dollarfrom Tuesday’s close of 1.745.

The currency’s rally tracked gains in Brazil’s benchmarkBovespa index of more than 1.5 percent and higher equitymarkets in the United States.
