Walgreen: Medicaid settlement won’t hurt results
June 4th, 2008 | by admin |CHICAGO, June 4 (Reuters) - Drugstore chain operatorWalgreen Co (WAG.N: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Wednesday it has taken a reservefor a $35 million payment to settle claims it improperlyswitched patients to more expensive versions of three drugs.
“Walgreen has reserved for the settlement, which will haveno impact on financial results,” the company said.
