Seoul shares open up led by financials, airlines
July 24th, 2008 | by admin |SEOUL, July 24 (Reuters) - Seoul shares advanced on Thursdayafter oil prices continued to slide, easing inflation worries,and U.S. financials gained on hopes of rescue plans for troubledmortgage lenders, lifting banking issues such as Kookmin Bank(060000.KS: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz).
The Korea Composite Stock Price Index was up 1.02percent to 1,607.96 points as of 0006 GMT.
